My stay was great. The service was awesome. I enjoyed my stay.
Location is nice; close to everything. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was small (standard room). Check in was at 3, but rooms weren't clean. So after waiting an hour for a room, they switched me to a different room. Front desk was trying their best with the situation.
Stayed in room 225 had no heat. Had to have electric hearer to warm room. Was told twice it was fixed. All we had was cold air from room heat.
How can I start, this past weekend my family and I booked 2 rooms at this hotel. One of our rooms were occupied by a family who had gotten there the day before we did so how did that happen. It gets worse my cousin stepped outside to grab something out of the car around 1or so In the morning, well he forgot the room key, so instead of the front desk agent calling the room to verify if he was a guest in the room she calls the police and says he looks suspicious, we finally get that resolved, so the next morning my wife takes the kids down stairs to eat because on their website it says kids 12 and under eat free. The front desk agent tells her that it is not free and that she had to purchase a meal in order for the kids to eat free, but the website did not say kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal, it said kids eat free. She got rude with my wife so of course my wife being an employee of IHG tells her that's she's wrong and needs training and ask for the general manager and the lady responded that there is no manager. So she calls the police and has us once again embarrassed by the police and escorted off the property. We will not recommend this property and will be contacting corporate because this is not how you do business. We will be seeking action on this issue because these incidents were uncalled for and very embarrassing and disrespectful to customers.
Nice clean hotel. Price is good for holidays and not far from Memphis center. Prefer the area to Memphis.
