This place has the WORST office manager I have EVER encountered after they switched to Semmes-Murphey. I had been a patient of the doctor, before this place took over his office. I loved the lady before, she had alot more compassion then this lady. I had come in for my appointment early at 8:45 a.m.and it was for 9 a.m. I was the first patient of the day. The lady rudely asked for my information and said I would have to look over some paperwork. I acknowledged that the information was the same except now my insurance was a gold status. I came to make my payment. She repeats my cc information over the phone out loud for whomever to hear. This should've been my first sign right there. Hello, why don't you have a card machine? Things went downhill. Then she brought me some "more paperwork she forgot to give me". I am asking her, "why do I have to refill out all of this, aren't I in the system already if I am an established patient"? She just didn't like me asking her questions. So she came back in the room and said, "M'am you insurance card does not show you as the main person on the card so who is the person that is paying for this insurance?" I said, "Excuse me"? "Are you serious"? I pulled out my card and showed it to her and said, "what name is on this card"? When she found out I was on disability her whole attitude toward me changed. She was saying who was on the insurance card. She became very hostile toward me and wouldn't believe me that my name even after I showed it to her, and it was on the paperwork. I don't know what came over this woman. I asked her to cancel my appointment and put the charge back on my card and that I was going to report her. Her response was, "nobody else had any problems with me until YOU". I said, "Lady I was your first patient of the day and you have been having others go in WAY after me even after I paid and their appointments were AFTER mine." I told her I wanted to speak to the office manager and she smugly announced that she was..and I said, "well, I will be reporting you to your management, because you do have someone over you, don't you". And I left. I wasted time, gas and money to be told that my name is not on my insurance card? Most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! Plus I have complex partial seizures, migraines and needed to talk to my doctor about latest findings on a ct scan and this woman was upsetting me by just not doing her job. She could've caused me to have a seizure! You can bet I called and complained and I did a survey on her. I will NOT go back to that office. It is sad the way she treated me.
