Unwelcoming experience. I was looking for a wedding ring and the sales lady kept asking me about the price. My man was standing right beside me and he’s buying it, so ask him. I just thought that was so unprofessional. I specifically told her the style I was looking for. She didn’t show me the rings in the category I asked for. Instead I’m just standing there looking at random rings in the glass case. I was thinking she was going to pull out some options to choose from but instead she just sat there, awkwardly looking stupid. Then she shows me this ugly tiny square ring for $800 and informs me that we can finance it. We immediately said NO! We’re young not stupid and not about to pay a monthly bill for a tiny $800 ring!!! She failed to explore all of my options, I’m sure they have a online database or something but she acted like she didn’t care and acted like we were wasting her time. Also I felt like we were judged I make more than her 10.00 hour & commission kay jeweler salary. Those employees need to humble themselves.
I love the service i was given. The woman who helped me, helped me find something very nice for my mom's birthday that was within my budget. I really like this store and totally plan on going back in the future.
I went to look for engagement rings. The store was pretty empty but didn't close for a couple hours. When I went in I stood there for a least 5 or so minutes before anyone spoke to me. (And there were a couple without customers.) When someone finally asked to help me, I regretted saying yes. She was very rude. She waited another couple of minutes before she actually came to help then proceeded to assist me even though she was clearly annoyed. I only asked to try on two rings, that took approximately five minutes. Then as she, for the third time, tapped her nails firmly on glass, I was unexpressed with the horrible service and left the store. I felt as if she prejudged me thinking I would not actually be purchasing anything and wasting her time. Needless to say I will not be purchasing my engagement ring from Kay's.
Walked in yesterday for a last minute gift and Lisa immediately walked up to help despite how sloppy I was dressed(remember, I said last minute). Told her I wasn't sure what I was looking for but she assured me she could help. She showed me a new collection Kay started carrying and the different prices and pieces. I pretty much decided right there to go with a nice looking pendant and necklace. Thanks Lisa for your help, they loved the pendant
